Networks & Telco

The arteries of a data centre – providing the infrastructure along which information flows. In simple terms, IT networks and telecoms are similar in design and operation to transport networks. Just as people can move around using many different forms of transport, all of which have certain advantages/disadvantages over others, and are subject to various traffic control measures, so information flows throughout the enterprise using different networks, with differing speeds and reliabilities, and all managed to ensure optimum reliability.
